In the heart of Saint Germain des Près in the 6 th district of Paris, "La Maison des Millésimes" offers a large selection of ready-to- drink Bordeaux wines, some of which rare and old (and even very old!) vintages. We also stock wines from Burgundy, the Rhône valley, Loire, Champagne... all selected for their superior quality to price ratio.
Most bottles are adapted to today’s quick pace lifestyle: not having to wait years to drink your bottles at their peak (often we can’t resist opening them before!), this is the spirit of la Maison des Millésimes.
In clear opposition to wines you can find in supermarkets, this intimist wine shop offers more than 600 wines from 10 to 2000€, from 1937 to more recent vintages. You will find:
A minimum of 3000 tasted wines per year (most of which are thankfully spit out!): The strict diet Thomas imposes on himself in order to gather such a well-rounded selection of wine bottles – for all purses - packed in 20 square meters of pure pleasure. In addition to his regular presence in the wine shop, he attends professional wines fairs and visits the vineyards of France to find those special wine makers, the stars of tomorrow, and nurture privilege relationships with his "dream suppliers";.
Did you know that the way you decant a bottle of wine can impact its properties? If served at an inappropriate temperature, or opened too late, the wine can lose up to 60% of its qualities? Thomas, Pierre- Yves and Florian will be pleased to advise you on the best way to enjoy it.
